Did a little bit of everything.

    Cleaned up my bench.

Tumbled 2 lots of 40S&W brass.

Trimmed a bunch of 223 brass

Tested my brand new Hornady quick trickle and an old Lee safety beam scale.

I trimmed chamfered and de-burred a few hundred pieces of 223 brass this morning before work. Have approximately 200 more in this batch. Next step is a quick tumble and roll roll them thru the 550. Then i can put my trimmer away.

Im 7 weeks in on an RMR bullet order of 9mm projectiles. If that shows up it will start working on that next.

    Gibson’s shakes some old cobwebs.
I grew up in Abilene and back then they were the Walmart of the times.
That was one place I didn’t mind mom dragging me into.
I could get lost sporting goods and she knew where to find me.
There is still the remnants of one in Weatherford but it’s a True Value Hardware I think.

Deprimed some 300 blk brass. On some the sides of the primers didn’t come out just the top. And some of the cases the neck would start to bulge in the middle. Most of it I had no issues resizing and depriming

There is a Gibsons in Kerrville, it has fairly good hunting and fishings section.

I put a very tiny amount in side the case mouth. Who knows. I bought these rounds from a local outdoor range. So who knows if they were ever reloaded multiple times then just left on the ground

Were the primers that came apart crimped in? Were they factory roumds or reloads? I've seen pictures of this before but never had it happen to me yet.

I primed a few 460mag and 454 casull. I counted them up and looked at some data trying to decide on a load for them. I have some 240gr XTP mags, some powder coated 300gr FN bullets, and some 325gr hitex coated bullets I could use. The guy that gave me the hitek 325s also gave me some 225gr HP casts. Those would sure make some nasty little screamers.

    Speaking of case lube.
I have used homemade, spray on cases, let dry 5 min.
    Heet + liquid lanolin.
HEET gas line antifreeze which consists of 99% isopropyl alcohol. Use a 1:12 mix ratio and you will never go back to any other lube.

Ive been using the dillon non aerosol spray.
Its alcohol based with lanolin. 3 oumps into a 1 gallon bag full, shake them up and its done.
Sounds kinda like what you made.

Put my new frankford trimmer/case prep center to work. 400 pieces of brass from unprocessed to loaded.

Getting the frankford and the chargemaster lite was the best thing I have ever done as far as reloading goes
