This Saturday, I reloaded all of the remaining 38 special cases (about 250), and .357 Magnum (about 200) that I had in the coffee cans waiting to be processed.

Looks like this holiday weekend I will be mining lead on Friday, and casting on Saturday.
I plan on finishing up the remaining 400 pieces of .30 Carbine by the start of December.

I watched a guy on youtube do an ammo test for 380. It looked like the Hornady XTP was the best balance of expanding and penetration. The actual hornady load wasn't quite there but the fiocchi and corbin loads were a little faster and worked better.

Lookup the guy. His youtube channel is shootingthebull410. Look in the playlists for 380 ammo quest. I don't remember if he's using an LCP or a kel-tek pistol for the test but very informative. After watching his videos I loaded XTPs for the wife's gun and switched my 9mm from XTPs to HSTs.

Shootingthebull410 hasnt been active in many years. It's rumored he had cancer and may have passed away. Really unfortunate because I learned a lot from h is videos.

It looks like he is alive! No videos in a year though.

Aw man. Today I found out that a labradar doesn't seem to work in rain. I did get to test a couple loads for 308 and 223 though and didn't see pressure signs so I'm gonna go ahead and load them.

Found some Lee 300 BO dies for "normal" prices so snatched them up.

Walked away from powder for my 300 WM until I do a little research on it. (7828/ not the SSC)

It's their "normal" price too which has always been high.

I feel like I may never see H1000 again.

What would keep it from working in the rain?

I just finally bit the bullet and bought one.

It's doppler radar. It wouldn't register because of the rain. Then I was getting some stupid low readings from the AR.

I cast up a few hundred 9s, a few hundred 45s, a hundred or so 40s, and 50-70 308s. It's been a productive day. I have been casting a bunch of 45s lately thinking I had 1000 cases to refill. Turns out I don't have any empty 45s

Finally loaded up some Lee 1oz slugs that I cast a while back. There isn't much data available using this slug for low recoil loads. I haven't put them over the chrono yet, but they should be around 1350 fps. Functioned fine in my pump and got 3 inch groups at 25 yards which was better than than I expected.
