Today I loaded up the zombie wadcutters, and some 125gr Lee cast, with traditional lube.

    Gunz are icky.
    Loaded 100 rds of 45LC.
Brass prepped 44rds of 44Spl brass, sorted out 200 additional pieces of 45LC.
    All are ready to load.
Tried to get something done before it gets too hot out there.

I loaded a couple 12oz shiners last night. That's probably all I'll be doing until after summer at this point. Too hot to go into the garage.

That's a range report. I like flowery prose but a "Just the facts" report can be a breath of fresh air. Thanks.

Thanks Rick. I'll use the starting loads to try out in my trapdoor.
Any luck with the hollow base bullets?

I have not loaded smokeless for the 45-70 yet, I was waiting for the 5744.
The goal is come up with a safe smokeless load that approximates the accuracy I get with the Holy Black. I am going to try your hollow base along with my cast, and see what works.
