This could apply to anyone that would take on the government including those that fight for the right to bear arms or for simple freedom. If the government becomes tyrannical then a lame gallows is not going to deter me.

This is about US building a gallows to make a statement...not THEM...swords weren't made to rattle, but to fight. Same like why waste ammo shooting up in the air, why tip them off by building a gallows to show our stance and challenge them. We're way past demonstrations.
