I don't know wtf happened. I went to lunch with a couple guys. Left to get my motorcycle inspected. The inspection place was packed so I kept riding. I somehow ended up with this.

Picked up my Ruger LCP Max. I'm really impressed with what Ruger did with this. Hopefully off to the range in a few days.

Been wanting one of these for a while now. Never saw any for sale locally, but I made a drive out to academy north of Houston and found one on clearance for $215. A little bruised up from being on display for a while but otherwise a good deal in my book. Going to slap an optic on and use it as a can host.

Girlfriend was still at work. I cleaned it and put it in the safe. Didn't say a word. ;)

Loved my TX22 until this happened today. Luckily my awesome LGS and range where I bought it, is going to handle seeing how good Taurus is with their warranty and send it in for me. View attachment 263588 View attachment 263589 View attachment 263590 View attachment 263591

Just thought I would update my post on the Taurus TX22. After my LGS contacted Taurus, they had him send it back, I believe it was sent out on 6/30. Got it back today, so I would say not too bad of a turn around. Taurus replaced the slide and the recoil spring and supposedly ran 30 rounds through it. I didn't get to shoot yet, but will run it through it's paces sometime this week.

Glad the turnaround was acceptable. Taurus USA has a relatively new CEO that came from Walther. Customer service response time is apparently the new guy's measure of success. Hope it runs right this time.
