Just bought a gen 2 Glock 22 with night sights for $299

Went to my Lgs on my lunch for the hell of it and left with a new (to me) glock!

Had to go to waco today for a dentist appointment and one with DARS for the wife. Both got cancelled. Stoped at Cabela's looking for a special hook sharener. No good on that either.
Got the wife to look at a Browning 1911A1 .22 and a P22. She liked the Walther better.

She wanted something light with minimal recoil. This should fit the bill nicely.

Of course it doesn't hurt that I will enjoy shooting it as well.
So the day wasn't a total bust.

So I had some time to kill today and found myself in the vicinity of Bass Pro. I haven't been there in quite a while and it beats kicking rocks.

Strolled into the ammo aisle and I laid eyes upon 22LR.

    Boxes o' 22LR.

    A venerable cornucopia of 22LR.

    Shelves awash in 22LR.

My local Walmart has been drier than Martin County since 2013.

I tented my fingers and cackled like C. Montgomery Burns.

There were Remington Golden Buckets for $89. I guffawed. Instead I snagged a box of Federal AutoMatch for $19. It was then I noticed the 1 box limit on 22LR has been lifted. It's now 5 boxes per caliber, any caliber. I scooped up 2 CCI Minimags for $8 a piece. Felt stubble on my neck. Did I neckbeard right?

I also picked up a nice black leather Bianchi OWB thumb-break holster for 1911. Hoping my HiPower looks nice in it too.

FNX45 Tactical host for my Liberty Cosmic Can. The weekend can't come soon enough.

Not sure how to make the picture bigger
I have it's earlier version, the FNP .45 Tactical and it makes a great suppressor host and is extremely reliable and accurate.

I picked up a RIA 1911 CS in 9mm (model 51643) for my wife last week. Looks like RIA has discontinued it and I was on a notification list for several suppliers last week and got emails from 3. Ordered from the cheapest!

She shot it this weekend and put about 250 rounds through it without a single issue.

Bought the sccy cpx1 for my get home/bug out bag. Got it new at a pawn shop for $190. Couldn't beat that.

Little plinker I've been lusting after for a bit.
    48xxxSA 1968.

4 3/8 inch barrel quite desirable.
Looks unfired, zero wear save a scant bit on the left muzzle from holstering (darn 99.5%)
Good leather is expensive, so the El Paso Saddlery rig is a nice perk.

Probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Lucky you
