Walked back in today & spoke with the assistant manager. I told him nothing about being in yesterday and got it for $5 less than my offer last night.

This gun is pretty darn nice overall but for the life of me I can't understand what the previous owner did to get these marks on the top strap...
They are not gouges..or rust.
I'm gonna try some flitz here shortly.

Maybe a holster or a red dot mount??

According to the Ruger SN lookup it was made in 1990

Was surprised to snag some .38 Special 158 grain fmj flat nose from Norma this week. Seems to be a pretty hot load for range fodder.
