Nah, I’ll bring a functioning, ready to go firearm instead. More actual fun that way.
Just because there was a little hiccup in our last endeavor at the meet, doesn't mean we couldn't destroy yours completely.
The lower is polymer so I’ll keep it far away from y’all and tools.
Put the clear “sweetheart” grips on the 1911.
Pics are my daughter when she was my little girl. She’s all grown now.
Where did you get those made? that is neat
Bought two more complete lowers from PSA for two uppers I already have and a carry handle/rear sight. Going to look at/buy a vortex strike fire and 3x magnifier in about 20 minutes.
The grips are clear.
I trimmed down an old photo to fit underneath the grip.

You are quite the artisan, good work
I managed to get the safe in and set in place today. 48"high x 24"wide x 19 inches deep. I need to remove the shelves and get it setup for all the AR's and an AK and shotgun that are going in there. Plus some pistols across the top shelf or on the door. Here are the pics. Not bad for $80.
I had a Fort Knox container for pistols but always worried about someone walking off with it. This was too good a deal to pass up. They were moving and didn't want to mess with it. Threw it in my Suburban and off I went. About 400 lbs I think. It took two big guys and my refrigerator dolly and a furniture dolly to get it in and up the stairs and set in place. Had a power strip installed already and lag bolts with it too. Going to remove the shelves and install these (Bauer Gripper Caddy -Original 5) x 3 in there for rifle rests. Add a dehumidifier and lights and done.
Should work out nice for a bedroom quick access safe. That picture in the background is my grandfathers purple heart, long before they called they them that. Signed by Woodrow Wilson. Looks like this one:
