    Gunz are icky.
The local Academy store here has always been the pits.
This store must be on the very last stop on the re-supply route because they're always out of everything.
Even in pre-covid times they svcked.
Some days they're out of everything except electricity.
Ammo has been non existent in there for months.
Went in there yesterday just to see if they might have something ammo wise. To my utter amazement they had some .40S&W and some .223.
Didn't buy anything as I do not need either of those two calibers.
So maybe something is getting thru.

Still stocking up on mags. The election combined with CA potentially being able to buy hi-caps again, mags might be in short supply. Picked up US palm AK mags, 10/22 25rd mags, Magpul Glock 21rd, Metalform 32rd sticks for my Colt PCC and a few 40rd ETS Glock mags for my other PCC.

Just ordered every thing I need to have a 20 inch, cylinder bore barrel assembly for my 12 gauge Model 97 takedown from Numrich.
Right now its got a 30 inch full choke barrel that needs a long forcing cone reamer taken to it so it can safely shoot 2 3/4" shells.
Who knows, the riot barrel could come in handy in the future... for cowboy action shooting, of course.

    Ammo again.

The possibility of Biden winning just makes me want to buy more. He certainly is helping the economy in at least that regard. Of course though, if he is elected either him or Harris (after he suddenly dies from a stroke or is ousted under the 25th) will ruin it.

Academy Sports had quite the selection today of: 150 round boxes of 9mm FMJ (don't recall the brand but one of the better ones), Winchester Defender 9mm, Hornady 9mm in tumblers (2 boxes of 20 rds), Hornady 9mm in a pistol case (2 boxes of 20 rds & one of 25), 40 S&W (don't recall the brand), Winchester 22 LR in 100 rd boxes, Monarch 7.62x39mm spam cans, various rifle calibers like 300 WIN Mag and 300 Legend, (that have been there a long time), 308, a few boxes of Winchester 5.56 M193 (left over from yesterday - they had so much of it then that it did not sell out in one day), I think 25-06 and maybe some other rifle ammo. I wonder if they must have paid somebody off to be getting all of this ammo, even online ammo dealers who sell mostly ammo are not getting anything like Academy's stock and it is coming in now with fair regularity over the past week or two.

Went to the Mesquite gun show and was able to procure
    500 165gr .40 HP bullets for reloading
    500 180gr .40 FMJ bullets for reloading
    200 300r .458 semi-jacketed HP for reloading
2 lbs of CFE Pistol powder

Wasn’t a bad show, was fairly crowded. Ammo prices were stupid.
    Primer prices were insane. $100 - $160 for a brick of 1000.

People were buying ammo at stupid prices.....sales seemed to be going well for those who weren’t there to gouge others for there money.
