Picked up 1k of CCI standard Vel .22 ammo. Finally found somebody to ship it to my commie state. Up here when walmart has it they only let you have 3, 50 round bxs at a time. I go through that much almost everytime i hit the range. Got it from Target Sports. Shipping was high, but what the heck.

Buffer tube, end plate, castle nut, and a barely used Daniel defense trigger group.

Got my wilson combat spring kit in today and installed it on my 629. I have their kit on all of my revolvers but my 617. Took the double action from 13.5lbs down to 7.3. SA from 3.5 to 2 lbs. Now to test for proper primer ignition this weekend. Oh and I still need more ammo.

Also recently bought a Tulster Contour holster for my P365. early impressions are it's very comfortable. I've never gone full kydex with any holsters. they've always been hybrid but this one, so far, is great

Current pile for my M4E1 project. A few parts are on back order and some I haven't made up my mind on yet so no telling when I'll have this thing done. What was supposed to be a simple upgrade to my home defense rifle has morphed into this over budget monstrosity. In the end I decided to just build an all new carbine with all the features that I thought would be useful to me in a SHTF environment. A mix of bomb proof and light weight components that I hope won't still end up being too heavy in the end. Won't know until it's done.

On back order: FN C.H.F. chrome lined barrel with mid length gas system and gas block.
    Misc. small parts

Waiting on: Aero Precision M4E1 lower receiver.

    Thinking about:
    Magnifier 3X
    Backup sights
Urban camo Cerakote? Might try it just to see if I can do a decent camo job on a gun. The whole thing will be Cerakoted Graphite Black as a base coat whether or not I try the camo.
    A few other small parts.

    The pile so far:

This is a very nice piece.

Didn’t see them Friday at the NRA expo but went back today and saw the CheckMate limited ed for Texas 25rounder. Originally passed on it at $50 but my wife was like you sure you don’t want it?
