Study after study, after study from the 50's to recently, done INSIDE the govt, by the govt and by outside contractors has given the same results: 20-25% of all federal monies are unaccounted for thru waste, fraud and abuse of the system.

I read that Walmart will be forced to foot the bill since corporate gave the managers the go ahead. If it were up to me, every one of these shoppers would be tracked down via camera and card swipe and have their cards revoked.

According to what I read, and lets take that with a grain of salt, Walmart should have only honored $50 (amount set up by state of LA).

But..... I suppose, looking at the bottom line, it would be cheaper for Wally World to let the animals clear out the grocery aisles, rather then have the store trashed and/or burned to the ground, or even worse, have dead and injured employees to deal with. Those lawsuits would go into the millions upon millions and who knows what the cleanup would cost on top of that would be.
