Mine went in for the lift (finally) on Tuesday. My buddy's shop is doing it, no rush so they are taking their time and chipping away at it while working on their other projects. I had a lot of the components powdercoated, so they are being extra careful with everything. I'm guessing it'll get wrapped up today.

Full Carli Pintop 4.5. Fully optioned except for bags (I don't really haul or tow) and the shackle. Also added Kryptonite reservoir clamps and BDS recoil bars. Had a hard time finding a traction bar that wouldn't limit articulation. I've got a turbo and fuel pump waiting to go in, and will be putting down about 700/1350 to the rear. The custom deaver leaf pack is good to about 600ish rwhp... which I don't know how they came out with that number since torque is more likely to cause axle wrap but whatever.

Installed a new set of Bilstein 4600 series shocks and struts on the Silverado 1500. While I was under there I replaced the sway bar bushings and end links as well. Love the ride, stiffer than stock but not harsh, soaks up the bumps and ruts. The truck no longer rolls in the corners and the shock dampening is much quicker than stock so you don't bounce around. Very pleased with them.

I didn't trust my old spring compressor anymore so I picked one up from Summit Racing for $39.00. Don't trust it either to tell you the truth, lol. Might have to invest in a semi pro spring compressor, I've done enough of these at home to warrant it.

Urethane bushed end links, the bar bushings are Moog rubbers. I also replaced the spring isolators, these are almost always cracked, it's cheap insurance against noisy springs.

All assembled and ready to go.

Cleaned everything up while I was under there.

Got her cleaned up on the outside and then it rained, lol. No complaints this time, freaking hot out!

    Nice setup!
I know Sage Carli from way back when he first started his company.

He used my truck to dial-in some of their shocks back in the day.

Here’s the rear setup on my old rig, had their long-travel airbags also. I pretty much threw their whole catalog at it….I regret selling that truck.

Older pickups are always in high demand. 15 years ago my MIL had a 1994 Ranger that had spent most of it's life in Alaska and she was frequently asked if she was willing to sell. When she passed I put a sign on the window and sold it within a day. This was in a rural town with a population of 2k.

Had a guy with wad full of cash show up wanting my 03 Ranger regular cab. Paid more than I bought it for in 2014.

I was thinking of parting with it anyway.

The inside rear view mirror being wobbly as **** annoyed me considerably.
Used a torx screwdriver, unbolted it from its holder. wrapped the base in double sided sticky tape, shoved it back on the windshield mount, tightened the torx screw and suddenly, magically, it's not wobbling around anymore.
I'm even able to use the day/night lever without knocking the mirror completely out of whack!

Getting 20MN ready for possibly a week of flying for work. Fresh oil change, filter, screen check, new quick drain, and a top off of the brake fluid. Checked my prop bolts torque and safety wired everything up. Will get my O2 tank serviced tomorrow. I need to get my own O2 service tanks. Shop charges $75 to fill. Charge is for the service. Doesn’t matter how much you take.

Washed the truck this morning before the temperature hit 90°. As it is black, it will need to be washed again by the time the temp hits 100.
