Vacuum advance diaphram on the Mallory distributor has a hole in it.
Been messing with me for weeks now. Took it to a friend and he started messing around check this check that pull this oh this is your problem I asked what the hose he says no the diaphram after he blew into it again. FK me! So The part is no longer made and there are zero options.
That's Holley for buying out all the cool manufacturers and then shit canning their parts to create your own.
So it's officially new distributor time along with spark plugs, new grommet for PCV valve. Fukityfukfuk
Hate it when they do that.

    Old JEEP’er here.

Thou shalt not ‘’lift’’ nor ‘’lower’’ w/o a very specific reason, & ‘’looks’’ don’t count.

Cherokees are for soccer Moms, not off-roading.

Way back when hunting in the Big Bend, our old CJ’s often came out rope-towing those lifted Cherokees.

I've decided to keep my 2015 Silverado, coming up on 100,000 miles where I would normally sell and buy a newer vehicle. However with all the chicken shit strikes and outrageous pickup prices, I have decide to pay Chevy dealer $1000 for transmission , transfer case and differentials flush and refills, cabin filiter and complete diagnostic on all systems. I have had zero issues so far, this is my first Chevy pickup after several Fords and Dodges....I bought it because I got a deal and a half and the truck has performed flawlessly. I have replaced two splash guard keepers and zip tied those cheapass plastic grill components.

If you take care of it, it'll go another 100k. I've only ever bought a couple new vehicles. Normally I buy right when the warranty expires. That's how you get the best deals.

A/C compressor in my 2006 Dodge decided to lock up last week. It was maybe 3-4 years old but my brother was able to fix it over the weekend.

This was after the evaporator went bad in August and that requires the entire dashboard to be removed from the firewall. Luckily my brother is a mechanic who has done enough Dodge repairs that he knows what to do.
