The best shooting .45 I’ve ever owned is my CZ97B “E” Conversion by Cajun Gun Works. It’s more accurate than any Wilson Combat, Nighthawk, or Ed Brown 1911 I’ve owned. Still DO love me some 1911’s though of course

Are used to have an EAa witness that was the compact version in 45. It was a lot of fun to shoot, I am sorry I got rid of it. I’ve also enjoyed shooting the Glock 36. Again not sure why I got rid of it other than I needed the money at the time.

Picking my favorite 1911 is like choosing my favorite child.

My picks are a close tie between my Sig P220 and my Ruger P90. Both are great shooters and I never had a issue.

I loved the 4506 when I first bought it but then got bored with it.

If you decide to get rid of that 4506 let me know

Granted, though I'd still prefer my half-century old Series 70 GM to use for self-defense. = HEAVY & rather CLUNKY but I trust it to go BANG every time & even with the cheapest 230 grain FMJ GI ammo, it is a STOPPER, whether the threat be drugged-up Moros pirates, SS Troopers, fanatic Japanese Marines, CHICOM human wave assaults, PAVN Communists or terrorists of many sorts.

It is an ATI FXHD which is a USA made plastic fantastic 45ACP powered by a 1911 compatible FCG.

Disclosure ... I ain't found a 45ACP to like that isn't a 1911. I maybe could have before I tried a 1911, but too late now.
