Normal driving (the way I should drive): 24mpg
MY normal driving (the way the car was meant to be driven): 10mpg

I really haven't averaged it out, but those are from what the electronic systems say when I drive.

I guess you save weight by leaving your pride and balls at home driving that to work

    My M3 gets about 17 City : 25 Highway.

lmao!!! i can already tell you're cool.

no offense, but a Prius is probably the most gay car on the road. smart cars are close to it.

In defense to Ira, he drives ALOT of miles so it actually works out to be economical for him. He still rides bikes and has a rather impressive collection, or the modern term is cache, of firearms.

There are some instances where a hybrid is not a bad car, but they scream "liberal commie treehugger" to me. When I was in LA I thought it was funny because there were just as many priuses as there were Range Rovers on the road.

At least I fit in with half of them.

94 Mustang GT Vert - 20 mpg in town
    95 Range Rover - 14mpg in town
    01 F150 - 12 mpg in town
    05 Freelander 18mpg in town
    05 ZR1000 - 30 mpg in town

It's funny that Midland has the EZRider and I bet more people are using it now, I remember when I thought public transportation in Midland was a joke.

    '67 Jeepster-Commando --- 16mpg city, 15mpg highway. That's using 93 octane w/fuel booster @ $3 a tank.

    '91 Honda Civic --- 34mpg city, 37mpg highway. 208k miles :D, but no A/C :(

    '00 Jeep Cherokee --- 16mpg city, 18mpg highway

I just locked my cruise control at 65mph and cruised from Round Rock to Arlington, Texas. Exactly 200 miles. G35 reported 31mpg. Apparently going 65 instead of 75 yielded me 4-5mpg better. I wasn't in a hurry and enjoyed just cruising. I expected 28ish but am pretty amazed at 31. This is with the AC running 100% of the time and a few slow downs and speed ups, but 99% of the trip was locked in at 65.

wife's 05 pt cruiser, 23-25 ... just got back from a 2,600 mile junket to Illinois and back, waiting to see the damage when I get my Shell bill ... only place gas was way over the top was in Illinois, of course, where it was $4.15ish .. OK, MO, IA, all under $4 ... hard to believe I'm cheering about $3.95 gas ... just a few years ago, it was a buck and change ...

just talked to the ex-wife in CA, she says they're paying close to $5 now ...

Mazdaspeed3, when I'm off it, is averaging around 26.8 according to the onboard computer...I get a notch over 300 miles a tank when I'm not driving it like an anti social deviant.

I own a 2008 Toyota Tundra DC 4x4 5.7L Iforce V8 average 17city/23.8 highway. My 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L I6 4x4 LTD average 15 city/24 highway. Both are bone stock, nothing has been modified as of yet, except for an ARB Winch Bumper on the front of my Jeep.

2005 Hummer H2 SUT with 37x13.5x18 tires, averaging 9mpg. :banghead: LOL

Hmm, sounds about like my military HMMWV. Goes anywhere a full size truck will fit, too heavy, too loud, uncomfortable, overkill for a daily work vehicle. Oh and yes terrible gas mileage.
