The "buddy" scooter we sell at the shop by genuine scooter co. gets 90+ mpg while going up to 65mph. Top that people!
150cc? You sure about that 65mph claim? I've got a 150cc scoot and it tops out around 45mph with me on it. Maybe if some 70lb emo kid was riding it it'd do 60, but my torso is like a giant wind break on it. I have no idea how many MPG my scooter will do. I should probably drive it more, but I just look at it as a toy really.

2010 Yaris 35mpg wife driving 45 miles to work at 75mph

I've got an 08 Yaris hatch with an auto that gets about 35 MPG combined city/highway. I love that car, not really a highway star but on curvy, hilly backroads it can be a blast to drive!

It helps offset my 05 Jeep Wrangler (also an auto, but with a small 2.25" budget lift and 31x10.5 mud terrain tires) which gets 15 MPG if I'm lucky. It does better with the top/doors/windows on, but it's more fun without them!

Our Honda minivan gets around 20 MPG, and the motorcycles probably about 35-40 but the sportbike usually less because being economical on it is no fun!

So I guess I average 30 MPG between all of my vehicles!

    Cheers! M2

I had a mid-80s Honda Elite scooter (CH150D) in college and it was rated to 65 MPH.

That's said, I was thrilled if it was able to hit 55 MPH! And back then I only weighed about 145 pounds...

    Cheers! M2

you must drive really, really slow if you get 16mpg in your gasser Excursion.

Yes, "been there" and "Been there fast".....Now it's time to slow down and smell the roses! LOL

If there is a "head wind" it will tear the hell out of that 16mpg and drop it to 13-14.

    2004 Infiniti G35 sedan. I get 15-17 City, 19-21 Highway.

I think I'll be needing to buy a truck if I get this job after college, so I'll be use to terrible mileage.

I rode my bicycles 3300 miles since March, 2011 and burned not one drop of gas. Consider yourself topped!............ Snicker

the best i have seen was 15.5 on highway at 55 the whole way
but i average about 9-11 city 13-15 highway
i dont really pay to much attention to mpgs though a tank of gas will last me about two weeks and that includes driving from waxahachie to lewisville once and driving to and from work and thats good for me

@Thedan, the scooter indicates over 65 mph(about 68) with a single rider under 200lbs. I have been told that most GPS systems clock them at almost 10% less than indicated though so it may not be a true 65. It will still consistently achieve over 90mpg even with intermittent high speed use. My Dakota PU on the other hand averages 19mpg(3.9l V6).

My F450 gets about 11.5mpg with my trailer on going about 60ish. Since I can haul three Priuses or twenty motorcycles and still get about 10mpg that technically brings my average way up though right?
