I have heard it before....
It is grammatically incorrect and used in place of "YES" with an exclamation mark.

So instead of YES!!!, you say Yeet.

For example:
Cool Friend: You ready to hit up the club?
You (if you want to be cool): YEET!

Dumb, I know.
Some girl threw a can of soda on video, yelled "Yeet" and it became a word..
