Parents bought me a 1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT. Cool little car, not a good daily driver for a 16 year old.

First car I bought with my own money was a 1992 Ford Ranger. Great little truck with a 2.3L pinto motor and a 5-speed manual.

1972 Mercury Capri in 1977. It already had a bad case of body cancer. Spent more time working on it than driving it.

1969 Ford Falcon. 4 door. Bench seats front and back. I had a lot of great dates in that car. I miss it.

Edit: My dad still owns a 2 door 63 falcon. He says it is mine when he is no longer with us. It will be a crappy replacement for my dad, but will be a nice way to remember him.

Yep, my older brother had a 63 Sprint. A 260, but after building it up a bit, it was a beast . T5 tranny 4 on the floor.

I was right behind him when he totalled it. VW darted out between stopped traffic, but it was his fault because he was driving on the shoulder getting ready to turn right.

    I see a '56 F100 in my future .

First car was a 68 Jag xk150. Paid $600 for it and sold it back to the guy for 800. Then bought a 51 Caddy hearse. Painted it rattle can pink but left a black stripe down the center to make it faster. Great car for senior prom. Coffin full of beer in the back.

Next was a 1966 Corvair Monza 140 hp. Drove it till 84 and had 280,000 miles on it when it was totaled while parked.

Had a neighbor who in '82 found a '62 Falcon with 289 and 3 on the tree with 22,000 original miles. I wanted it bad. He drove it into the dirt...

Actually, my first car is kinda a bit fuzzy in the determination. As I mentioned, a 1965 Falcon station wagon, which mama gave me, and paid cash for.

2nd car, a 1968 Chevell, which, again, I didn't pay for, it was an out of court settlement with a chicken shnit that took a baseball bat to a quarter rear glass on the Falcon instead of me.

3rd Car....1970 Chevelle, (I learn slowly).... the actual 1st car I paid for.

( Still remember those blood stains on the hood.)

Currently considering probably a '79 model Firebird I have been seeing for sale. Not my dream classic car, but I would enjoy it. Have always had a weakness for a '69 GTO or around that year model.
