    Sounds as tho he needs some names and info to put on the paper for guns sold without documentation??

    Being the OP’s location is El Paso, this could be the case....
    Of course it could be their new business model (the new normal) and in either case grounds for not purchasing anything from them in the future in my opinion.

    Thats pretty stupid, but not as bad as trying to scrap some metal.
    I went the other week & had to show ID & GET FINGER PRINTED just to scrap 100lbs for $6.

    I'm guessing that's due to copper thieves.

    I sure hope that was just trash you were disposing of.
