Put a roast w carrots and potatoes in the crock pot. My kitchen is smelling purty dang good right now.

Some people just overdo the salt. I overdo the pepper.

I cut back on both salt and pepper.

Ez-E came by we went & checked out the guns hop in Groebeck. Agyer they we pigged. out on Swamp Combos at BillyB's. Web both left out of there full & with to go cartons. I have 2 strips of catfish & 3 shrimp in the fridge. I'm still full from lunch.

I just finished boning out a whole turkey. Only thing left with a bone are the drums & wings. Made up a batch of brine. Tomorrow I start brining the turkey meat. I'm going to oven roast the carcass with celery, carrots, onions & garlic. Once thats all nicely browned I'll boil it pluck any meat off the bones then puree it all for a gravy base.

There was a McD’s nearby. Urban French restaurant foods have declined during my decades of visiting.

Oh well, to “le Riviera” via TGV today, foods should improve.
