Damn Tramadol has decreased my appetite! It's also increased cotton mouth & nodding out. I know I'm making excuse for no dinner pic. I guess once it was on the plate smothered in gravy i just didn't figure it was photo worthy! I have a follow up appointment for tomorrow, so perhaps I'll be changing the Rx.

I wish I could find real nice porterhouse steaks.

They get cut into strips and filets or go hone with the meat cutters.
I do love a good porterhouse steak. Don't see them a lot in the stores around here.

My T-bones will be going on the grill in about 15 to 20 minutes from now.

I'm cooking the potatoes in the toaster oven as a friend suggested. Never done that before, but, it beats using the big oven and heating up the entire kitchen.

T-bone steak, grilled to medium rare, and baked potato, with butter, (real butter!) sour cream and bacon bits!

Yeah, it was good! And I grilled two steaks and baked two potatoes, so I have some for tomorrow's dinner.

Tonight, standing rib roast, well sort of.
I’m going to tie three bone-in ribeyes together and roast them.
    I’ll get the middle one
Romaine tossed salad and onion fritters to round out the dinner.

Had one of the best burgers yesterday a combined effort of two of our members here. Growing up a yankee the Texas burgers I have had have been just to much mustard. This was a combination of venison, venison chorizo with pork fat! Just enough mustard to complement the chorizo combinations with a nice kick lettuce and tomato to mellow it out!

It has me totally rethinking my own burgers at home once my stack of frozen patties are gone!
