What security cams do you have? Anyway, that bottom picture by the bumper cover, that definitely looks like something not related to drought.
    oh yay.

i use Chinese version 6mp Dahua cams (IPC-hdw4631c-a) and blue iris software on a dedicated PC. The app isn't nearly as clear as the actual PC server but it works well enough for remote access.

I chose a turret over a dome since they are wall/horizontally mounted. Domes tend to get a lot of water drops blocking the view. The separate IR sensor also eliminates spiders from constantly triggering the cam.

when we built this house I had 10 cat5e lines run through the brick and terminating into a separate can. The other can is for all the bedrooms/office/loft/living room.

I still have 4 more to put up, just lazy. Also need to upgrade the hard drive and start recording 24/7, right now it only records on triggers.

Dahua cameras are great. I wired up our building at work with 17 of their 8mp units (so far), a mix of bullets and domes. I'm using their NVR too (32 channel model) with 48TB of storage.

some people don't like the Chinese versions, I read enough reviews to be confident in these and they with great. firmware is in English

I would like to suggest removing the bricks stored around the AC compressor(s) to increase air flow.
you know, I never planned on them being there that long. I've got baseboards installed but not caulked and touched up, half a backsplash and no range hood. cabinets missing crown moulding.

moving the bricks is me admitting I'm not doing the flower beds this week. We moved in back in Nov.....

I get fungus on roses and a honeysuckle. Brown spots surrounded by yellow. Rust fungus as its known. I end up spraying most things out in the yard with copper. It'll knock it out until the next rain. Which will wash the copper off.

Got with my neighbor today and we laid down a few bags of pesticide and then watered it in. Now we wait.

    Damn lawns.

Since putting down the antifungal stuff he recommended mine has NOT spread... take your phone with you show him the pictures.. I am pretty sure you got the same stuff I do.. also its airborne... so.. it may be a while until we're clear of this.

I spread fertilome antifungal all across both my front and back yards.

update, I've managed to stop the fungus and while some of my grass died (brown not yellow) it's growing back.... however, I've encountered a new problem and I'm wondering what pest has decided to do this.

It goes from newest to oldest.. with the oldest being about 5 weeks old... it's always in 2s... are these moles, voles, or some other damn creature im unaware of.. the dirt tops are soft like some sort of roof of a hole down there.

The hits keep on coming eh?

Update of my own: The first application of pesticide wiped out the chinch bugs. Our lawns are both on the mend though I don't expect will be fully grown in before the summer is out.
