I would like to get a Double Diamond lower to build an AR pistol in either 9mm or .45ACP. So far, I've not been able to get any response from emails I've sent them and to a couple of distributors. I haven't tried calling yet (may do that tomorrow). DD is the one that is dedicated to a correct size for Glock mags. Emailed Mooney's a while back but also with no response. Anyone have any current information?

I've been eyeballing the Kahr CW45. If I could find a good and lightweight .45 that isn't a Glock I'd be happy.

STI now makes a "lite" Duty One (3, 4 & 5 - about 25.5oz for the 3) - tough to find a "gooder" company than STI (and then there's their Elektra, which I have, at 22.9oz - the Escort at 22.7oz)

    .
no new firearms on the 2014 horizon but might relent for a Hard Chrome job on either my Browning HP or my STI Tactical (just to cool any "gun-spending" urge)

I've been wanting a AK-74 for a couple years. But with ammo prices the way they are I am hesitant to add another caliber to my needs. And I think I have permanently talked myself out of the PS-90 for the same reason. Man, that stuff is high dollar, when you can find it.

I shot a FN 40 not long ago. It was not the most comfortable gun I have shot, but man was that thing accurate. I put 12 rounds in a spot the size of a COke can, which for me is pretty awesome shooting. May need to think about adding one of those.

You missed me selling my FNAR a while back huh? Not hard up for cash anymore, so its not for sale anymore. FYI, I love that rifle.
