Had homemade gumbo yesterday.

The house mouse said it’s fried chicken and pea salad with baked tates for the starch ration. I always tell her what my Daddy told my Mama after a good meal which is, “You may not be much to look at..but you are a good cook.” She still thinks it’s some kinda special compliment...which it sorta is.

Instead of jambalaya.. I had whataburger since I wasn’t paying for it. Then went home and was asked if I wanted whataburger again. To which I said yes.
