What gun have you shot, upon firing made you immediately put it back down?

For me its those .45/.410 bond arms derrengers. As if the jam-your-hand-in-a-blender recoil impusle wasn't bad enough, you only get 2 rounds in a heavy, and rather bulky gun. No thanks.

Haven’t found none yet that I had to put down.

Did shoot a little bitty smith and Wesson with thin grips and hot .357 loads that was pretty unpleasant.

I've fired some pretty unpleasant rounds in my Ruger Blackhawk 45 Colt. I purchased a hundred rounds of Georgia Arms 260 gr. +P rated at 1200 fps. That doesn't sound all that hot, but it was definitely more than any .44 magnum I've shot. That was 6 years ago. I still have 94 rounds left.

S&W Sheild in 9mm is my pick.

The palm of my right hand would be sore after a couple of mags. I'm not sure if it's worth

Polish P67 with normal Mak loads is unpleasant. Two rounds out of a S&W .500 mag (wrist hurt for two days.)

    Here
When I was 8 years old my drunk uncle handed me his 12g single barrel, 'long tom' and told me to shoot some ducks. I was not able to put the stock on my shoulder, so I put it under my arm. When I pulled the trigger the hammer hit me beside my nose and I was knocked on my ass. The next day both eyes were swelled shut and I had a gash where the hammer hit me.

I would say that is the most unpleasant gun that I have ever fired.

I look back on it and wonder why my dad didn't kick my drunk uncle's ass.

Steyr Scout firing Hornady Superformance 178gr .308win is a kick in the butt.

Mainly cuz of the light weight fluted barrel, aluminum receiver and plastic stock. Total weight is about 7 lbs.

It isnt too bad if you replace the hard plastic buttpad with a squishy gel filled one from the Steyr Prohunter. But factory stock config sucks to shoot. Most people stop after 1-3 tries.

Moonpie's 3" Ruger Vaquero with the Bisley grip and stout 45 Colt loads. I could hang with it but those hurt. I think it was the Bisley grip because the plowhandle grips don't hurt that much.

Similar experience minus the drunk uncle....10g, knocked me flat on my ass. After that first shot I took it like a man. Well, a little man.

First on the list would be a SAW. In the 80’s, earpro wasn’t a priority.

Oh yes! What was the guy's screen name that took the barrel to his face? His real name was Eddie.
    A.Texas.Yankees'Girl? :green: Glockowner I believe.

Worst to shoot was a pistol grip AR15. Longest lasting side effect is no doubt squeezing off a .50BMG under a metal roof after way too much BSin' and forgetting to use ear pro.

I shot a psa ar10 with the m4 stock. AR10 by itself isnt bad but the M4 stock made it an awful experience
