    I was watching “Queen Of The South” on Netflix when lo and behold, a local diner made a cameo:

    But the setting in the show is supposedly south of Phoenix.

    I almost ran outside to make sure I hadn’t been transported to the desert.

    Ironically, I was probably in there not long after the show was filmed.

    While we were waiting on our food, a health inspector emerged from the back and told us the place was being shut down because their walk-in wasn’t working, and we could eat at our own risk (which seemed pretty stupid they would allow food to be served.)

    Evidently the owners didn’t use the money for a cooler upgrade.

    P.S. They filmed inside, too.

    I heard it was just trying to get away from Dallas.
