AMC Pacer.

Used to love the Pacer! That was before I was old enough to actually own a car. A good friend had a Matador...another AMC jewel. The Javelin was the tops.

I had a 1981 AMC Eagle Kammback, all black, 4cyl. 4 speed way back when. Nearly all my friends drove AMC's. Gremlins, Hornets, Matadors, Rebels, Spirits, Concordes, Jeep Cherokees, Wagoneers, Comanches, etc. They weren't perfect, but it's really too bad the company failed.

If you haven’t heard of them...it’s a compact British car with a factory Dodge 440 engine.

This is a stunningly preserved, mostly-original example.

My wife's Buick does that too, to give you a target for the foot sensing liftgate auto-open/close. On the Buick it even auto illuminates when you approach (via keyfob proximity sensing).
