I think Texas is one of the few states that do allow a vehicle like the Atom to be sold complete. But there may be hoops to jump thru...
There was a recent kerfuffle where people with previously legal Atoms and Goblins were having their titles revoked. Similar thing happened 5 years or so ago. TADA has been lobbying to get assembled vehicles off the road. Awhile back SEMA lobbied to make sure replica kit cars like 7s, and Cobras, and such were safe, and just recently "Save the Texas Dune Buggy, Sandrail, & Kitcar" got new rules codified for how to get assembled vehicles road legal, but I think some things are still up in the air.

...or you can walk into the Polaris dealer and drive home in a trike the same day.

Yeah but it’s just like my car. Little, red and German.
Oh, and mine is only in a garage when I take in for service.

How about a former pretty car in an unusual situation?

Took this pic at Ocotillo Wells OHV area in SoCal a few years back. This spot is called Shell Reef. We were regulars there, and so was the 911.

It’s a pretty famous place in the off-road and motocross communities.

On this particular weekend, his buddy with a Supra came to join in on the fun.

I had to drive home with a broken collarbone after wrecking at Texas World Speedway.
It would really suck getting back from there.

Life Flight choppers were, sadly, a somewhat familiar sight. It’s out in the middle of the desert in nowheresville.

Can I join this Alfa clique of yours. The 124 Mazda is making was initially supposed to be an Alfa partnership so I feel like I’m already a step in with my ND lmao
Yeah, well it came out as a FIAT instead

I do drives in my Fiata, too. We've invited the Miata club with us a few times, but the guys that show up have all been slow. One dude showed up with a slammed ND and a new swanky carbon fiber lip on it. He got pissed when the first cattle guard we hit bashed it up. Tough titty... We drive our cars hard, not hard park.

If you come up to Austin, let me know. We'll go for a drive.

I didn't hear about that one, but found a picture since you mentioned it... Did they understeer off, or were not even paying attention? That road has a lot of wrecks, mostly just regular traffic. People in their own little world and don't even see the turns.

It's an amazing chassis for the money. Something is up with the roll centers, tho... Everyone says to just throw heavy sway bars on it, but I think that's a band aid. I think there's some improvements in the geometry to be had.

Unrelated picture since this is a picture thread. Was taken by a photographer buddy, but I was driving :)

Never got the story. We saw it after the fact. It looked pretty much unscathed. Just perched 10' above the road lol. It stayed up there for about a week. I never ride lime creek alone anymore. You just never know what craziness might be coming around the corner.
