Went here to get some cars inspected. Yesterday there was a 64 mustang and a 68 cougar. This one was here today.

    Mine.
Yes that’s my front door welcome mat.

Yes I designed my porch so I can park right there.

My wheels and tires (Konig Backbone 16x7 and Dunlop Direzza) are back ordered. These are my mismatched stock sizes.

The car is near 2100lbs. No carpet. Minimal plastics.

I still want an Esprit V8, as crappy as they are. That was my kid dream car.
Friend of mine has one. Weak link in them is the gearbox... If you put beefier tranny it them, the engine is good for over 500hp and you'll be able to tune it for good mid-range power, too. In stock form they are kinda meh. The look cool and sound fantastic, tho.

I tried a set of Direzza ~15'ish years back. Not sure which #'s but supposedly their 'best' performance tire at that time. They left me disappointed. On a basic RWD sports car they performed much like any regular street tire, meaning they spun with any slight throttle application, and didn't impress in the handling department either (traction limited understeer). 3500lb. car on 285/30-19 / 255/35-19, 450rwhp on a DynoJet. Are the newer ones better? I kinda left them off my radar since that trial. My favorite tire back then was the discontinued (Michelin Pilot MXX3), but in today's world I really like the Pilot Sport PS4's - except for the price.

Heh I wish my current land yacht were anywhere near that old "heavy" car. This Charger weighs 4400 before you put anything in it.

My car weighs half. Sidewalls and tread compound really matter. My 2017 tires don’t have any wear and the abs really wiggles the car when you slam on the brakes.

Tires are the best upgrade a car can get.
