Selling wild game is illegal in Texas. A google search should get you some farm raised meat though.

    Out here by the lake!
What your going to be buying would be exotic game meats it's no different then livestock. A quick search of game farm venison in houston & you should find what you want. I think I'd more then likely find a farm/processor/shipper rather then check out a local store.

I rode by a Red Deer farm somewhere near Bellville once when I was on a motorcycle poker run. It was somewhere SE of Brenham.

A recent change to the law allows game processors to sell unclaimed meat to recover their costs. Call your local shops. Most have likely already liquidated this season's stash, but you never know.

Erma's Nutrition Center near Clear Lake sells some frozen deer meat (commercially packaged, not local), never tried it. I've gotten deer from Broken Arrow Ranch and their stuff is top of the line. You can get it from them online (brokenarrowranch.com) and they ship it out to you.
