What? Again with the "holier than thou" nonesense!

Your experience was nothing like the OP's experience.

BTW, I'm sure Gecko45 is looking for a new partner to guard the malls of America!

When I read your posts, my BS meter goes off the scale. I don't know for a fact, but somehow, I seriously doubt you are in LE.

    Wow... this group is stellar.

Ive owned a Glock 19 for about a month. It rules.

Next, I want a rifle. Specifically I want a wooden looking, bolt action one-at-a-time style shooter. That old WW2 look. Quick google search, the Mauser, or Carcano (dont want a carcano because of the whole Oswald connotation.)

I don't know a ton about guns, but Im slowly learning. What do you guys suggest in terms of the style, price, caliber etc?

    THANKS!

    Hello,

What did you end up buying for your bolt action rifle?

Did you get one in a 22lr caliber or in something else?

I believe that you mentioned 22lr caliber in another post of yours but I could be wrong since I just went through all of these pages in this thread.

    PS:

If you did not end up getting a bolt action rifle yet - I could suggest some very nice CZ bolt action rifles to you with iron sights.

My husband and I own several of them in 22lr and 22wmr calibers.

(We gifted an old friend one in .223 caliber too.)

    Rimfire | CZ-USA

    CZ 457 Lux | CZ-USA

    I own and shoot a CZ 457 Lux rifle in 2 calibers - 22lr and 22wmr.

Scout and Training rifles are sweet rifles too.

    Best wishes to you.
