I was perusing through my July 2009 Guns Magazine and saw an article on the Whitney Wolverine.

Its a .22 auto that was first introduced some 50 odd years back and just wasn't marketed well, so they went out of business. Olympic Arms has picked up the design and is manufacturing them again.

It was futuristic looking back then and still is. I think its a neat looking lil rim fire just because its different...

Anyone have one of these? I have been looking at a Ruger 22/45 (and will be getting one of these for sure), but I am thinking of getting one of these too for the fun of it too....anyway here is a link to the site

Have seen the original Whitney's at gun shows in the past and agree they sorta look cool. Have never had the chance to shoot one.

I saw a nickel, unfired, in the box Whitney sell on an internet auction--brought 4100.00. I was astounded.
