Who do you trust

Bought this Taurus PT 1911. Apparently they have a problem with their ambidextrous safety, the right side just falls off. So I was thinking I'd like to have mine replaced with a standard left side safety.
Who would y'all trust in the Houston area to install such a device?

Don't they have a lifetime warranty? I would call them and have them fix it.

Its not broken. I just want to replace the safety with a more reliable one.
And yes I know it will void the warranty. From what I read thats not a lot to lose.

Change it out yourself, thumb safeties are pretty easy to do.

He just put an extended thumb safety on my springer and he is going to do the single sided safety on my cousin's pt1911

Taurus will take it back on their dime, fix it and send it back.
