The VA opens the lab at 5am. One time I guzzled a Dr Pepper before the test. Lol, I wanted to see what it'd do. I was sugerized and they freaked out. Told me not to drink a soda water before the test anymore.

I don't know what time the lab opens at the VA but I know if you show up at 0700 you've got at least a 90 minute wait.

OK, be proud. So what are your numbers for cholesterol (0-200) glucose (60-100) and your PSA (0-4.0)?
    Had those checked last Jan

    Everything was dead center normal
    Glucose was 99
    PSA was normal
I am on no cloresterstal meds
My doc said they were great numbers

That's why I'm redoing my life insurance policy

My health scores have been great since my weight loss and weight lifting started.

Good for you! Those are good numbers. Keep up the exercise!

    Thank you

I hate to repeat what they say, but diet and exercise matter
I just cant explain how much better my life is since I made the turn

I'm now within 20 lbs of my weight when I got out of the military in 1991

Abso f'ing lootly! I am proof of it.

I am now within 4 pounds of my weight when I got out of boot in '66 (best shape in my life), but that wasn't always the case. I had some clogged arteries about 7 years ago after letting myself go in a life of indulgence, but corrected that by diet and exercise. Still like my beer though - no cholesterol. My numbers are all like yours - low to middle of the range.

The medical examiner will explain it to your next of kin!
    Ha!

Frosty, this, and some others, is what you should be paying attention to:
    Glucose 60-100
    HbA1C 4.0-5.6
    Chloesterol 0-200
    Triglyceride 35-150
    Direct HDL 35-65
    Calc LDL 65-130
    Chol/HDL 0-3.6
    Anion Gap 5.0-19.0
    A/G Ratio 1.3-2.5
    PSA 0-4.0
    TSH 0.40-5.0

The values represent the ranges of where your blood work should be. Those are the ones I watch closely.
