I just got an e-mail from Freedom Munitions announcing .22 LR - NO LIMITS!!! It's only $59.90 per box of 50. They must'a hired CTD's marketing guy. Makes me sick.

Still not a good price. I still find it regularly at walmart and good prices. I used to live across the street from freedom and would still rather buy from academy.

It's their ammo and it's their right to sell for whatever they can get. I's MY right not to do business with them.

At some point that right in pricing gets slimy. It resembles the guy who sells life jackets for $1000 as a ship is rapidly sinking.

    No Thanks.

I think 22lr is sstarting to hit non-main stream distributors other than wally world and cabellas and those non-mainstream distributors are trying to ride the dying wave. Surplus ammo recently offered the 0.13 cents per round, with "plenty in stock". there's another thread for that ripoff offer.
