It's interesting that he's the CEO of a chain of stores that caters to the socialst pearl-clutching demographic and bans carry of firearms on the premises.
Since when does Whole Paycheck ban firearms? Admittedly I haven't been to one in a while, but I never saw that before. Maybe it's a regional policy they don't have here in Texas?

Well, considering that the only two locations of theirs I've ever set foot in are in Texas...

The one in McKinney is posted 30.06 and 30.07. Don't know if the location I've been to in Austin is or not, or if it even still exists. But it was as well.

I'm not going to visit all the Whole Foods in Austin (there's several of them). But I will check out the one up by The Domain, which is the area I some shopping in. 30.07 signs are very common in businesses. But I'm surprised that Whole Foods is posting 30.06 signs.

That one is listed in the link provided by General Zod as 30.06 and 30.07. It will be interesting to see if they have changed it. I haven't seen a whole foods that wasn't posted in the DFW area.

While he may be right about this I hope everyone doesn't jump to claim he's a Saint and worship the ground he walks on.

He is saying this now only because he retires from his CEO position in a few weeks, end of August.

He does say that he was forced to shut up by his board. But it would have been braver if he told the board to pound sand and state his opinions anyways.

I'm not. I was surprised years ago when I learned their CEO wasn't a hard-left dem - mostly because of the company's policies, including their firearms restrictions.

Then get ready to be surprised. They generally use outline only letters that are very difficult to see, but it appears the Domain location just puts it way down at the bottom.

And yes, the CEO is a self described hippie capitalist. He’s probably closer to libertarian than hippie, but just won’t admit it.

    Out here by the lake!
I knew some meat cutters that went to work for them. Instead of drug testing they fire you if your late 3 times.

When the wife was going to college she worked at Kinko's with this hot little redhead chick who was as witch. A year later the wife tells me the witch wanted to do a threesome with us. I went to the store she was working @ looking for her, to my dissapointment she wasnt there.

I don't think that sign is compliant and doesn't have force of law. It has to "Appear in contrasting colors with block letters", putting letters on a clear background doesn't fit the letter of the law.

    Carry away.

The most interesting thing to me about this story isn't that the CEO said this. It's that in our cancel culture society he felt safe saying it. Many companies have finally began to stand up against the demands of wokesters. The far left's power over our culture is waning.

It does demonstrate the attitude of the Whole Foods corporation, which this supposedly conservative guy was CEO of. I'm thinking he probably thinks John Cornyn is doing a fine job, too.
