Not too terribly exciting, but took the dirt bike out around the hood. A tad over 20 miles to stretch its legs a little. Haven‘t run the dirt/gravel roads since October, so figured low speed slab is better than nothing.

Similar setup for replacing the rears coming up. Bit more of a "stripped down" look.
Bikes are fun to tinker with.

I knocked down 180mi and a stop at the Peaks before the chill.

I've tried a couple times to no avail, someone else suggest a meet up and let's see how it goes.

Been on three day run escorting this around East Texas. I really hope we make it to Texarkana tomorrow. 16 ft tall, 18ft wide, 320ft long. Have no idea on weight, it heavy because we have a pusher truck.

I've received a few of those.
They get there when they get there.
A good transport company will provide a 24 hour window for arrival on site.
Then we wait on the crane to offload and set on permanent foundation.
It's kinda unusual and eventually boring as all get out.

TXDOT doesn't give you a direct route because of the size.
But at least they give you a route that's passable, right? I've seen mobile homes in ditches twice in my life and both times I thought to myself "What made them think that truck and load could make that turn?"

I always wondered who pays, who gets fired, and who winds up in court when expensive things are ruined in that manner. I haven't wondered enough to actually go research it, though. :)
