Why are my pictures so small and gay?

So what is the trick to getting regular sized pictures on this forum? Every time I post a picture it gets resized to "Small gay" size. For example, here's my latest self-portrait:



As you can see, its size is not nearly large enough to do me justice and show all the beautiful details and handsome lines of my glorious head. Please instruct me on how to fix this tragedy. Thank you.

I use another sight to resize and then just add that URL to the post.

Use imageshack to host your pictures and then hit "share it" option. Copy the supplied URL, and it will be full size formatted for a forum.

Upload the picture to your Imageshack account. Go to your images, right click on image you want to share, left click"share it", another screen will pop up with image code(make sure full size image is checked in new pop up), highlight image code in box....right click to copy it, open forum, right click paste......done.

Let me know if you have problems and I can walk you through it.

I used to use Imageshack all the time until they required accounts. I'll try this with it's benevolent clone, Postimage:

Well, that's a little better. The "Thumbnail for Forums (1)" does the trick okay; still a little small. I guess that will have to do as I can't be bothered with registering for Imageshack. Thanks!

Small images or thumbnails is because its an attachment. Done to reduce bandwidth and database storage space, IIRC. Has a direct effect page load speed. Full sized images are links to a remote host.
