Unless you are flying something owned by the gov with multi million dollar cameras in the nose, drones are terrible for spying.


Loud as hell, get far enough away to hide the noise and you won't see anything, limited battery life, and if the control signal is flooded it it will fly right back to you so easy to track.


There are better surveillance options, with ten times the range and flight time but most aren't aware of them.

I need to start implying that I am joking more often. The only thing I am going to be in honest WROL situations is hiding or running. I have no interest in engagements with people that are going to be better armed and better prepared.
