Why do you think women quit wearing these?

I was watching this old movie called "Unknown island" about an island with dinosaurs on it and while predictable, the female lead was wearing a pair of those pants. She was wearing high heels on the beach too but I digress. It was Virginia Grey, who by the way was very attractive. But the pants. The pants made her rear end look twice as big as it really was. So, I think women quit wearing them mostly because it made their butt look bigger!

Take a stroll around Walmart, and they now wear spandex! They ain't trying to hide a "bubble-butt" anymore, they are trying to show it off!

But to answer the thread's question, fashions come and they go. Sometimes something old does make a reappearance years or decades later.

I just hope that the " disco" look of the 1970's doesn't come back. That's one I'd like to forget about!
