So it’s do as I say not as I do? I don’t understand. If the 9 is so superior why would you carry an inferior round such as the 45? You have laid out all of its flaws but still carry it...
Tell you what, i will paypal gift you 20$ if you can quote me where i said you should not carry .45 or .40
Carry what you want, but be realistic about it. Belive it or not, one can carry one round while understanding the advantages of another.
This isn't rocket science. Caliber choice is not a one and done thing.
And as for why? I got a great deal on a TRP, and while flawed, .45 has good performance, and is fun to shoot.
9mm is still cheaper, has less recoil, and gives you more rounds in any given space.
