Wife wants to get into archery and wants a compound bow. Neither of us know anything about them and could use some pointers.

as stated above, find a shop to find what will work/she prefers. you can buy local or on-line.

I think the one in Lampasses is Knocked and Loaded. Jeremy knows it better thsn me. Another good one with classes and leagues is I belive G and G in georgetown.

Get her fitted for a bow, and shoot a bunch before you buy, a bow that's too long/short will hurt form/accuracy. if shes going to use a release get her fitted using a similar release. other than that get what feels good in the price range youre looking in
