Shot Show 2014 Home Wilcox Raptor IR Laser & Range Finder
I spent some time at the Wilcox booth today and was able to familiarize myself with their Raptor infrared laser. This IR laser unit has a visible laser, and IR laser, a infrared laser illuminator and a laser rangefinder. It has high and low modes and is relatively compact and light. It Does not have a large footprint on the rifle.
The ability to range your targets with one unit reduces the amount of gear that you have to carry in the field. The high power and low power modes are changed with a plugin key fob. One drawback is that you must select high power mods for both the visible and the IR laser and probably the illuminator itself.
