I want a shorter barrel on my 1300 winchester shotgun, like a 20 or a 19 inch. What do those run? I dont hunt with mine, just mainly for self defense, and for using around the farm. Would it better to cut to 20? or 19"?

I have a Winchester 1300 Defender it came with an 18 inch barrel.
the mag tube is just a hair shorter than the barrel.
8 rounds in the tube 1 up the pipe.
I bought it around 1994 has all wood furniture.
Instead of cutting trade it for a Defender.

What does a defender run? I have about 200 bucks invested in it.
