Went in to an EZ pawn to look around, saw the typical selection of rifles and shotguns on their shelf. Saw a model 12 and figured it'd be priced the usual $400-800+ I see them go for at gun shops, but I asked to look at it anyway just for the hell of it

    It was $200

    I bought it.

Serial number puts it at 1955 manufacture date if the website I checked is to be believed.

12 gauge, Modified fixed choke barrel, 28" length

Excuse my shitty pictures and dirty window sill, but I'm in a hurry and don't have time to take better pics.

Here it is next to another EZ pawn score from about a year ago, a Model 1200 Defender that I paid $250 for out the door

    Gunz are icky.
If it works and breaks down properly, you stole it.

    Wonderful guns.

Google up "slam fire". You're a daisy if ya do.

I'm aware of slam fire, I wasn't aware that this gun is capable of it lol.

I bought it thinking I could probably make some money off of it, but if it doesn't sell within two weeks I definitely wouldn't mind keeping it lol.

I have a 1958 Model and I paid a little over $300 for mine in about the same condition a few years ago. GOOD SCORE!!!!!!!
YES you can hold the trigger and keep it firing every 'pump'. Same with my model 25.

You own it so it won't work properly.

    Gun's fault of course.

The Model 12 is a wonderful shotgun. Winchester made something like eleventymillion of them for over 50yrs.
Yours would be a great base gun for a Trench gun project.

That's because 1911s are inferior designs lol.

Nearly 2 million apparently. A trench gun would be nice, but I also need something for sporting clays.

It takes down just fine, but I did notice that there's a bit of slack in the mag tube even after you align the arrows and push the pin in. It still turns a bit after the arrows are aligned. Is that normal?
