My girlfriend’s daughter started volleyball and the YMCA just notified them that only one parent can attend each game. No siblings either. Are you guys sick of this bullshit yet? It is an over reach. Anyone sticking up for any of it can kiss my ass.

    Was she stunned or tased?

Couldn’t see her at that point as someone was standing in the way. Not seeing a stun gun out I suspect it was a contact taser. You could hear her making noises while the taser noises were ears. I did not see any wires or any attempt to control wires as they were escorting her out thus the contact taser is likely the tool used.

I saw this earlier today. Listening to it, it sounded like a guy was heckling her about the mask as she went out. Was that the PA announcer? If so, someone should go tell him "STFU, Karen". What an @sswipe.
Also, anyone know where this game was taking place? It showed the scoreboard, but I couldn't make it out.

Supposedly the police also tase her. I didn't see it in that video, but according to the news article link.

You can hear it discharging at one point. I think he's using it in drive stun mode because I don't see prongs/wires anywhere and she doesn't go down.

Assumptive. Even in the late 80s, our small town ISD had cops on campus for all school activities.

Very well could be this was self-initiated action by the LEO/security officer.

Really would love to know the entire chain of events.

My money is on a school district cop or SRO for local PD.

    Possibilities I think are likely:

    • Cop witnessed lady without mask and told her to put one on
    • Administrator noticed it and told her to put one on, she refused, admin summoned cop
    • Admin immediately summoned cop to deal with it

This is a bad time for LEOs to start a two-front war.....

It’s also a bad time to act like an idiot.

We don’t know if she was asked to put on a mask or leave the premises. If she was and refused, she’s trespassing.

I highly suspect that is the case. And with that in mind I have a hard time feeling like that cop was starting a 2 front war. I’m not going to take the BLM route and assume that every vid I see that is missing all context except what would normally make me angry is accurate.

Unreal! Although I have my own proclivities about the need for a mask, like many other things its irrelevant. Wearing of mask, carrying of firearm.... She created the drama that unfolded. She had a mask in her pocket, you can see it in the video. What happened to yes sir/ no sir? Deserved all she got, gets and then some. Always hear what the LEO could have done different, never what the perp (not victim) could have done differently. Could have gone much different for her had she complied and put the mask on and or quietly left.

Good point. Usual is a local at the football game. Been so long since I was at a HS game....

In that case, he should have looked the other way.

Mask enforcement aside (and I know that's a BIG aside). How did she think that was going to go once she was told to leave and she refused?

Same thing I say when anyone else decides to start fighting the cops. It won't go the way you think it will.

As Chris Rock says, “if the police have to come get you, they are bringing an ass-kicking with them.

I’m sure it will go fine.

That’s woman’s problem is with the school board and their policies. Not the officer enforcing what is likely a trespassing issue.

'Top of the hill, Kerr County!
More than once when I was a high school administrator I had to ask people to leave athletic events, etc. (after having warned them earlier about something). Mostly younger folks who were causing a disturbance. Usually just something minor. Several times the person has indicated "You can't make me leave!". At that point I would just tell them that they may be right but I know someone who can. The always knew I was talking about the police. Heh!
