    Does anyone know if you should leave the spring washer off a 22/45 when putting a sparrow on? I leave mine on because if not it would of been lost a long time ago. What say you?

    Not that it matters but thats what Dave at SS told me to do. Only shims no crush washers or wave washers for the bearing surface of a can or mount.

    I think I'm going to just take my crush washer off and stick it in the Ruger box then. I'll never shoot the thing unsuppressed and the thread protector won't come off if it's never shot with it on.
