The chinese currency doesn't have an open bond market so it fails automatically as a global currency.

The euro. . . . Now that an even bigger joke than the usd.

I like silver ammo.and night vision.

    Brilliant post!

Neither Russian nor Chinese currency has any sort of global liquidity. As stated, the Euro is a total joke. It's going to be a while before world markets simply decide to change horses in mid stream in spite of what conspiracy nuts would like for us to believe. First, they need a horse to change to.

This does not mean that the world is not in a money crisis. It is. It just means that any change is a very complex one.

My mantra to those who want to invest: put your money in other world reserve currencies via foreign investments, and have multiple income streams to draw from. Puts you in a win-win situation: If the U.S. economy actually improves you have lost nothing, but if the U.S. economy tanks and we descend into another Great Depression in 7 or 8 more years, you'll have good income to live off of while your neighbors are wiping their asses with dollar bills instead of toilet paper. Also, when everyone else is struggling to make ends meat, you'll be buying up stocks and real estate like there's no tomorrow, and come out of the depression extremely wealthy. Quite a number of people came out of the Great Depression in the 30s unbelievably wealthy by doing exactly that. It's a lesson to learn from.
