TGT is a content driven website, and because of this I want to reward those that generate great content. I have two $50 Cabela's gift cards which are redeemable via their online store, retail store, or via their catalog.
So how do I win a $50 Cabela's gift card?
Easy! Write up an article on your favorite gun or gun related item and post it on the forum. Reply to this thread with a link to your article as your entry.
Rules
1) Articles must be well written. Please try to correct spelling mistakes and use good grammatical structure. It doesn't need to be polished, just make it legible.
2) It must be YOUR words, not the words of another person. Plagiarism will automatically disqualify you from this contest. You may have someone co-author the article with you if you have difficulty writing.
3) Articles must be gun related.
4) Minimum of 300 words.
Tips
1) If you use pictures, try to take your own. To take good pictures of your item be sure to use your camera in a well lit area. Natural sunlight during the day (outside), bright lights (indoors), are good examples. If you need help cropping or editing the photos just PM me and I'll try to help.
2) Video is a good way to showcase the item and explain things. If you have a camcorder, go for it! You can directly link YouTube videos in your article. Please write out a written transcript or article to include with the video.
3) Write for your audience. Imagine you are talking to your buddy or fellow gun nut. Try to describe it's look, feel, what you like about it, what you don't like about it, maybe a little history behind it, and it never hurts to include a few short stats.
