1911 style pistols are rarely 9 mm. Probably more likely to find one in .38 Super.

9 mm 1911? It's like asking for a Harley with training wheels.

Maybe you could refine your question a bit. Are you looking for a single stack 9 mm? Just wanting to avoid the plastic?

I have a star bm listed on another sight that is very close to a 1911. WAY under your price. Great gun way lots of holster ware but shoots like a champ and is perfect CC size. here it is....

Taurus has a 9mm 1911 that is under $800 brand new. If you don't like Taurus, I am fairly confident there are several other manufacturers that make 9mm 1911's within/close to your price range. With your budget I don't think you have to limit yourself to used guns. Just wanted to point that out.
