I am looking to purchase a land within maximum 5 hours drive from DFW. I looked online and the only option I am seeing are $1000 to $1300 per acre in north Texas and just near Oklahoma. Any suggestions on what kind of down i should be looking at and how the land finance is diffrent from home purchase. BTW this will be my first lland purchase and I am ready for a long commitment.
My budget is around $200K.
